  • OLD BANK OF ENGLAND (McMullen), 194 Fleet Street, EC4A 2LT. Closed for refurb. Reopening 16 July. 

  NW1

  • CHAPEL (Felberco Investments Ltd (Cyprus)/individual/independent), 48 Chapel Street, NW1 5DP. Now demolished. A new pub and hotel may be part of the new development.

  NW8

  • CLIFTON (Loci Pubs), 96 Clifton Hill, NW8 0JT. Now operated by Beyond the Vale Pubs Ltd

  SW1

  • GLOUCESTER (Cadogan/Greene King), 187 Sloane Street, SW1X 9QR. Closed, rumoured to be reopened by Guy Richie.

  • GRANGE ROCHESTER HOTEL BAR, 69 Vincent Square, SW1P 2PA. Became WELLINGTON HOTEL BAR.

  • GREYHOUND, 13 Cambridge Street, SW1V 4PR. Reopened as PURGATORY BAR. It's a branch of the experiental escape room company, No Escape, "serving high-end cocktails in an immersive Gaudi-esque interior that's not to be missed". The bar is on the ground floor and two themed "escape rooms" are in the basement. Drinks are mainly cocktails and spirits with a few wines and a couple of beers. Peanuts, olives and crisps, plus more substantial sushi-type snacks, are available as eats. Note this was originally at 51A Hugh Street.

  SW10

  • GOAT IN BOOTS (Trentpeak Ltd/Stonegate/Aldrich Inns), 333 Fulham Road, SW10 9QL. No longer leased via Stonegate.

  • SOPHIE'S, 311-313 Fulham Road, SW10 9QH. Closed 30 May on lease expiry with the future of the site uncertain.

  SW3

  • CALLOOH CALLAY, 316-318 Kings Road, SW3 5UH. Renamed MARCH HARE.

  • NEW FORMS (//), 9 Chelsea Manor Street, SW3 3TW. In a 1,045 sq. ft site next to BookBar in The Gaumont development. It serves as "a hub for vinyl culture and social connection, while also featuring a music-led bar that regularly hosts events and collaborations with artists and musicians". It's a cafe, bar, and record shop with an extensive vinyl collection and a high-quality sound system. There are two sister sites in London. Decoration is minimalist and all the records on the wall are for sale! A couple of draught keg beers are available plus a small range of other drinks including cocktails; some bar snacks/nibbles are also offered. Walk-ins only, no reservations. At date of this entry K&C Council is still responding to a cyber attack and licensing details cannot be accessed. It is likely that alcohol cannot be served until noon.

  SW6

  • BROADWAY BAR & GRILL (Bramheath Ltd/Stonegate), 474-476 Fulham Road, SW6 1BY. Closed again. Stonegate are still looking for a long term operator.

  • GOOSE (Lombard Asset Pub Portfolio London Ltd/RedCat), 248 North End Road, SW6 1NL. Now leased to Ethos Inc Ltd.

  W1

  • 100 WARDOUR STREET BAR & LOUNGE, 100 Wardour Street, W1F 0TN. Closed in January.

  • BE AT ONE (Lazari Properties 2 Ltd/Stonegate), 94 Wimpole Street, W1G 0EE. Closed on June 6th 2026. Future uncertain.

  • BROOKS MEWS WINE HOUSE (Mayfair House Group), 24 Brook's Mews, W1K 4EA. Closed in March.

  • COYOTE UGLY SALOON (unknown/unknown/Coyote Ugly), 30 Shaftesbury Avenue, W1D 7EP. To become PICCADILLY HALL expected opening date: Tuesday 13th October 2026 It is understood that JD Wetherspoon has invested £2.5m in opening this new site of circa 3,600 square feet.

  • FLARE (Shaftesbury), 14-16 Ganton Street, W1F 7BT. Reopened as VAGABOND. Empty for a couple of years, this site just off Carnaby Street reopened in June 2026 as a 6,000 square foot branch of Vagabond wine bars. It is the brand’s largest bar to-date There are a claimed 120+ wines by the glass via self-pour machines, and a food offering of seasonal small plates. Punters can take their glass around the room, choose a wine, and pour out as much as they like. But, only after tapping their credit card on the tap!

  • G-A-Y (Soho Estates/G-A-Y Group Ltd/Mean Fiddler), 30 Old Compton Street, W1D 4UR. Reopened as COVEN.

  • GREEK STREET LIVE (Samocca Assets Ltd (BVI)/Robatoo Ltd/independent), 4-5 Greek Street, W1D 4DB. Closed in February.

  • KINGS ARMS (Greene King), 2 Shepherd Market, W1J 7QA. Reopened in June 2026 after a month's closure for refurbishment, and reverted to its original (1742) name THREE JOLLY BUTCHERS

  • MARKET TAVERN (M&B/Castle), 7 Shepherd Street, W1J 7HR. Like others in the chain, the 20p per pint discount is no longer available.

  • MARYLEBONE LIVE, 126 Crawford Street, W1U 6BF. Will revert to BEEHIVE when it reopens.

  • MOTCOMBS, 8-10 Pollen Street, W1S 1NQ. Closed in October.

  • NEON 194 (Crown Estate/unknown/Tokyo Industries), 194 Piccadilly, W1J 9LN. Became ONE NINETYFOUR.

  • QUEENS HEAD (Shaftesbury/BoPubCo Ltd), 15 Denman Street, W1D 7HN. Now Cask Marque accredited.

  • WHITE HORSE (Shaftesbury/M&B/Nicholson's), 16 Newburgh Street, W1F 7RY. Reopened following refurb.

  W2

  • BRIDGE HOUSE (M&B/Castle)), 13 Westbourne Terrace Road, W2 6NG. No CAMRA discount.

  • KINGS HEAD (Zikoma Properties Ltd/Greene King), 33 Moscow Road, W2 4AH. Reopened following refurbishment.

  W6

  • DUCHESS (Stonegate/True Pub), 320 Goldhawk Road, W6 0XF. The unknown freeholder is now Havenlight Property Investments Ltd.

  • L'AMI JAC, 94-96 Shepherds Bush Road, W6 7PD. This venue is opposite the western end of Blythe Road leading down to Olympia, and about 30 yards south of the Richmond pub on the other side of the road. It operates across two smallish shop premises, 94 & 96. The venue is primarily a bottle shop, light restaurant and wine bar; but does also serve some draught beers. There is a tapas-style food menu of small dishes, but including larger cheese/charcuterie sharing platters. The beer range includes craft beers from Brasserie Carteron including some draught, and the venue has exclusive UK rights to sell wines from the Domaine Bayle-Carreau. Described as a "true hidden gem with a warm authentic French atmosphere".

  • OLD CITY ARMS (Stonegate), 107 Hammersmith Bridge Road, W6 9DA. The pub is within the Stonegate Craft Union model.

  W10

  • GARDEN BAR & GRILL (Heineken/House Bars), 41 Bramley Road, W10 6SZ. Cask beer no longer available.

  W11

  • BEACH BLANKET BABYLON (Wellington/unknown/unknown), 45 Ledbury Road, W11 2AA. As at mid-2026 this site is Celeste Clubhouse, part of a private members' club chain. The ground floor has an Italian-American restaurant open to the public.

  • WALMER CASTLE (King's Hall And College of Brasenose in Oxford/Mitchells & Butlers/Wren Pubs), 58 Ledbury Road, W11 2AJ. In January 2026 it was reported that Wren had acquired the freehold of this site.

  W12

  • DEAR GRACE (BBC/Incipio Group), 195 Wood Lane, W12 7FQ. Renamed BLOOMSYARD.

  W14

  • ELM (Lombard Asset Pub Portfolio London Ltd/Tabernea Ltd/Yellow Panda Pub Co), 206 North End Road, W14 9NX. Now leased to Ethos Inc Ltd.

  • OLYMPIA, Hammersmith Road, W14 8UX. Known to CAMRA members for hosting for many years the now-defunct Great British Beer Festival, the Olympia site had a massive £1.3 billion makeover in the early 2020s, and the inside finally started to open again in mid-2026. Incipio Group has opened multiple bars and eateries including Bar Arriba, a Mexican-inspired venue serving small bites and cocktails; Wolves of Tokyo, an 80-cover Japanese restaurant with 200-capacity cocktail bar; and wine bar Lillies. These are all in The Canopy roof area which has its own address and postcode, Emberton Walk, London W14 8FJ. Other venues include Arbour Bar & food hall, and the Pillar Hall houses speakeasy-style bar Pepperbird. So, you will not be short of somewhere to eat or drink or both! Venues are card-only; they have their own websites with opening hours and food/drink menu details. Music, entertainment and exhibition venues are via operators AEG, Trafalgar Entertainment and The Shubert Organisation. Venues include the 1,575-capacity British Airways Theatre. Olympia also accommodates two new hotels, the 204-room Hyatt Regency London Olympia, and the 146-room CitizenM London Olympia. The site has a 200-metre frontage on Hammersmith Road so some pre-visit research may be wise, to avoid getting lost in its vastness.

  WC2

  • BENJAMIN FRANKLIN (Wetherspoon), 11 Strand, WC2N 5HR. Expected opening date: Tuesday 24th November 2026

  • CRUSTING PIPE (Davy's), 27 The Market, WC2E 8RD. Now MR FOGG'S MARKET TAVERN. Part of the Mr. Fogg's cocktail bar chain, this one is set to become their flagship venue.

  • SINNERS SOCIAL CLUB (Tequila Mockingbird), 3-5 Burleigh Street, WC2E 7PX. Renamed BOOTLEGGER. 

National CAMRA news

• CAMRA members can now visit CAMRA-run beer festivals for free during 2026! (Please note: there may be a requirement to purchase a glass or book in advance at some festivals - check the website for the festival you're planning to visit for details).

• CAMRA also regularly produces a podcast 'Pubs. Pints. People' available at https://camra.org.uk/podcast/.
• The Good Beer Guide 2026 is now on sale through the CAMRA website and various other outlets. The Good Beer Guide is also available online on the new camra.org.uk/pubs website for free to members and for a subscription to non-members. To find Good Beer Guide entries after doing a search tick the Good Beer Guide filter in your search results page (under the 'Awards' heading). 
• The new CAMRA website https://camra.org.uk/ has been launched. WhatPub and the Good Beer Guide are incorporated in the new website.
