- Tuesday 23rd: The Lions of St James's Social – too many Red Lions? We start in the one in the Pall Mall to King St arcade and end up in the Fuller’s one off Jermyn Street.

- Tue 30 Sep (2.30pm to 9pm) North London branch Good Beer Guide launch, Duke (Back Room), 7 Roger Street, Bloomsbury, WC1N 2PB (copies for members at discounted price).
- Sat 11 Oct (1pm) Richmond & Hounslow branch Tap Rooms by Train: Thames Side Brewery (1 Hale Street, Staines, Surrey, TW18 4UW) to meet the owner who will give a talk on the brewery followed by some samples of their beers – first half pint included. Then on to Windsor and Eton Brewery (1-4 Vansittart Estate, Duke Street, Windsor SL4 1SE) where at 4pm we will have another talk on the brewery and the opportunity to try some beers – first half pint again included!
- Wed 24 to Sat 27 Sep: St. Albans Beer & Cider Festival, Alban Arena, Civic Centre, St Albans, AL1 3LD (just off St Peters Street in the City Centre).

WC2, FREEMASONS ARMS (Aldrich Inns), 81-82 Long Acre, WC2E 9NG. Renamed the BULL & EGRET by new owner 202 Pub Co Ltd (ex Aldrich Inns). Only one cask ale was available on the six handpumps (from Theakstons) but the venue hopes to put more on soon.

WC2, LOWLANDER (Brighton Pier Group), 36 Drury Lane, WC2B 5RR. Formerly a continental cafe-bar specialising in Belgian & Flemish beers, in summer 2025 this became a traditional pub named MARLBOROUGH HEAD and run by Urban Pubs & Bars. Two cask ales reported on offer, from East London Brewing Co; plus keg beers including from Two Tribes, Siren and Gipsy Hill.

WC2, MARQUESS OF ANGLESEY (Young's), 39 Bow Street, WC2E 7AU. A Sandford cider was available here in August.

WC2, SIMMONS TEMPLE (Aldwych Street Light Ltd), 1 Milford Lane, WC2R 3LL. Another of the chain closed due to restructuring.

WC2, TEMPLE BREW HOUSE (Arubu Properties Ltd/Young'), 46 Essex St, WC2R 3JF. This venue is being refurbed and will be integrated with Daly's upstairs. Reopening Sept 2025. - now open.

- The new CAMRA website https://camra.org.uk/ has been launched. WhatPub and the Good Beer Guide are incorporated in the new website. The WhatPub website will as a result be closing down on 1st October.
- CAMRA also has a new logo - this branch website will be updated to the new look soon.
